Walmart in Calhoun is a good store to shop in. I have never had any issues with them. Their employees are always friendly and helpful as well. I've had issues with the Walmart in West Rome several times and will not go back. I will drive out of my way to another Walmart before I go to Rome's Walmart again. Calhoun's Walmart isn't as big, but we shop there several times a week!
Very crowded and run out of stock fast on items. Prices are good and staff helpful.
I've been to many Walmart locations for oil change and tire rotation,but by far the BEST ever? I've never had a service center blue all of my ball joints and check the dope in my rear end and check all my fluids in all my years no one is ever done this come to find out they're supposed to be doing it all along but I'm at the Walmart service center in Calhoun I am 60 miles away from you guys and travel this highway frequently and will stop here in or out of town from now on!
One suggestion to make check-out more efficient. On the self check-out, please include a hand-held scanner. Target already has them but I want to shop at Walmart! I went to Walmart today and purchased two 22-pound bags of cat food and four 38-pound containers of cat litter. At 63 years old I didn't have the strength to pick them up and slide them on the scanner. I went to a manned check-out counter and the nice clerk just looked at them, scanned my purchases, I paid my bill and off I went. It did take a bit longer because all the self check-outs we're not busy. Just a suggestion that may be helpful. Thanks! Joan Fluegge
It's one of the better Wal-Mart's I've been in. The service is what you'd expect from a large department store, but the prices are good and I've always had good experiences.
