They leave you in a room for over an hour and when you ask if the doctor is coming to see them and the staff looks right at you then turn their head back around and continue looking at the shoes they are buying and the other nurse looks at you and continued walking. Very rude. I walked out
I would not recommend this hospital for anything. Wait times in rooms are crazy. Staff does not keep you informed about what is going on. While I was there man in room beside me yelling in pain staff at desk seemed to find this amusing. I was there over 4 hours never saw a doctor just NP and PA. Finally was told no broke bones follow up with doctor and see you later. Very unprofessional uncaring and overall rude . Unless you are dying I would go somewhere else. Even then I would think about maybe a good vet. I really think you would be better off.
I don't understand the negative reviews, I was a patient-they saved my life. All the staff, from housekeeping up to the top level, were great. I highly recommend this hospital.
Terrible hospital ! If I could rate it a 0 i would in a heart beat! I came in at 32 weeks pregnant having bad cramps, I had a nurse tell me I was 2cm dialated and she recommended the hospital in dalton, because they wouldn't be able to do anything for my baby because they didn't have a NICU. I gave birth here, very small beds my legs would always fall off, my baby was born with respiratory problems they never noticed after I mentioned it to them millions of times, finally it was time to be discharged, the nurses didn't even bring me a wheel chair I was on the 3rd floor and for some reason, they don't let you use elevators so I had to walk 3 floors down. After that I came for a very bad ear infection I was in the waiting area for 5 hours crying , two people that came in after me got attended before me, I'm Hispanic and they are white. A few days late I came with my baby when he was 3 weeks old he had a very bad fever of 106 and they couldn't figure out why. I went to childrens hospital of atl they told me he had meningitis. Currently I'm here, I've been in the waiting area for 2 hours with my 2 Month old baby he's having very bad breathing problems and is constantly chocking on mucus and is crying historically, I've had three nurses come to me to make me sign things none have asked me what's is wrong with my baby. Leaving on my way to childrens health care of atl!!
My mother in law has been in the icu since Thursday she has had the best treatment until today. I guess the staff who is only here for a paycheck works on Sundays all the nurses have been working so hard to help her get better showing so much compassion but this morning th3 pulmonary nurse was just cruel to her she's being kept on a ventilator an extra day as a form of punishment how can someone be that heartless.
