Rude people, overpriced animals and supplies. A 10 gallon tank at any other store costs between 10-20$. Here it's $34.99. Asked for $5 of a fish. Was charged $8, amd it included a dead one. Asked politely if they had feeders, lady was too interested in playing on her phone. Unhealthy fish tanks, gross black slime everywhere, and dead, decaying corpses in the tanks. Ammonia in the water tested 3ppm, a deadly amount. Dead bettas floating in cups. Had bought 4 '5.99' fish on a previous trip, and nothing else. Was somehow charged $32. Miserable, improperly housed lizards. Hamster was eating another's brain on my previous trip and noone cared. BAD BAD BAD, stay away at all costs. The trip to Petco is worth it.
I love this place. They have been in business in our little town for several years for obvious reasons! I have bought several fish, a frog, and recently a bearded dragon from them. Each time they have always been more than helpful on explaining the answers to my questions very thoroughly. They are very knowledgeable and friendly.
Pets R Us is the absolute best pet store. They strive to always be the best at grooming or boarding your pet. They have very friendly service and a wide range of pet supplies. I have been a faithful customer for years and never had a bad experience with them. I have witnessed some reviews of dead fish which is totally not true. Lisa and her staff are excellent and keep a very clean store. They go out of their way to ensure your shopping experience with them is their top priority.
